Greg Saw og Hard Rocx tar historisk 29" seier i NC maraton

What makes racing exciting is that anything can happen, and often does! Today in Østmarka was a special ending for a week i would rather forget! Two sick children at home and myself with a head cold. I started today mainly because of last weekend`s disappointment and frustration of sweet opportunities lost! I had some left over steam to burn!  Today`s Terrengsykkelrittet had plenty of action and my body seemed run well on steam. (i think my mum told me that once). But of-course not the best headache, sore throat and running nose!!!

From the first technical section Ola Kjøren disappeared into the mud, rocks and roots, and quickly opened up a huge gap over 3 minutes to us chasers. No surprise, all my bets were on Ola! Østmarka`s technical trails are his strength and XC style!  On the second and final lap Ola suffered a flat tire and bitter disappointment. As i was told all  last week, That`s racing! This opened up the door to me and my new Hardrocx 29er. The hr team issue is my all time favourite ride! The general feel is stability and compact acceleration(medium). On today`s trails i could not have won on a 26 inch bike! Instead of saying the 29er bike is faster, i would rather say it makes ME feel safer and handle obstacles with more confidence.

There has been so much stress and work over the last months to keep things rolling-fast, great to get a win to make it all worth it! Thanks to PF , Abax and now Hardrocx,  and ofcourse my boss at Galleri Dyrmyr who has been covering some of my duties;/
